BIOGRAPHY - Who Are We?

“Standing Still” is a mixed, Contemporary Southern Gospel group based out of Asheville, North Carolina. The group was formed in September of 2005 and consists of Ricky Brockwell, Matt Jamerson, Tiffany Jamerson, and Ashley Farris. They are a young group, of best friends, that have a passion for Christian music. They believe that singing gospel music serves three primary purposes: to edify the Church, encourage believers, and reach out to the lost.

In the group’s short history, they have been blessed with several milestones. They were awarded the 2007 G.M.T. Quartet of the year and also had a song in the top twenty on the Gospel Music Tour Charts. They have songs on the radio nationwide and have opened up for groups such as Crabb Revival, The Hinson’s, Crossway, Squire Parsons, Avalon, and Jeremy Camp. They look forward to serving the Lord every chance they get, wherever He may lead.

“Standing Still” encourages you to take time today and “Be still…. and know that He is God.” (Psalms:46:10).
